Why I built a Free Invoice Generator

I created Billwise to solve the timesheet invoice problem that every freelancer faces monthly.

As a freelancer, I needed a reliable invoice generator that could handle timesheet-based billing with all working days, hours, and totals clearly laid out for any month. Traditional PDF templates were time-consuming and error-prone:

It felt like I was reinventing the wheel each time. So I built something simple, reliable, and designed specifically for this workflow. It’s built for freelancers and independent professionals who want to focus on their work, not on paperwork.
